New Concession Kiosk Enhances Pompano Beachfront Experience |
Modern amenities and expanded facilities set to debut in Spring 2026 |
The City of Pompano Beach has commenced construction on a new beach concession kiosk and expanded public restrooms at 20 N. Pompano Beach Boulevard.
Slated for completion in Spring 2026, this project aims to significantly enhance the beachfront experience for both residents and visitors.
The updated facility will feature a larger food preparation area, outdoor public seating, and significantly expanded restrooms to better accommodate the growing number of beachgoers.
Once open, the kiosk will operate daily, offering a variety of affordable, grab-and-go options.
The menu will include breakfast items such as coffee, pastries, and sandwiches, alongside lunch options featuring Greek-themed dishes, hot dogs, hamburgers, and more.
Mayor Rex Hardin emphasized the city's commitment to enhancing beachfront amenities, stating, "We are committed to enhancing our beachfront amenities and providing a welcoming, accessible space for everyone to enjoy."
He also expressed appreciation for the community's patience during the construction period.
While temporary inconveniences may occur during construction, the city asks for the public's understanding as it works toward this necessary upgrade.
This development is part of a broader effort to revitalize Pompano Beach's infrastructure and public spaces.
In addition to the beachfront improvements, the city has embarked on a $2 billion downtown redevelopment project.
This ambitious plan includes new office spaces, retail shops, residential units, and public areas, aiming to create a vibrant urban center that seamlessly blends residential, commercial, and public spaces.
These initiatives reflect Pompano Beach's dedication to enhancing the quality of life for its residents and visitors alike. |
