Pompano Beach Shooting Leaves One Dead, Another Injured

Authorities Investigate Fatal Incident Near West Sample Road

A tragic shooting in Pompano Beach on Tuesday night resulted in one fatality and left another individual injured, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

 

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. near the 600 block of West Sample Road. Upon arrival, deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue discovered a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The individual was transported to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased has not been released pending notification of next of kin.

 

Subsequent investigations revealed that a second person had also been shot and was taken to a local hospital by a private party. Details regarding this individual's condition remain undisclosed.

 

Authorities have not provided information about potential suspects or motives at this time. The Broward Sheriff's Office Homicide and Crime Scene units are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

 

Community members with any information related to this incident are urged to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Anonymous tips may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.

 

This shooting adds to a series of violent incidents in Pompano Beach over the past year, raising concerns among residents and local officials about public safety in the area.
